Subject: Cleaning up yield data

Background:

1. We hire a crew that has six S670's to harvest our crops. They all have 2630's this year (finally!) and they use them but they don't try that hard to keep them calibrated.

2. I have Mapshots EASi Suite and I have all the yield data imported.

3. I know the total bushesl that came off each field based upon scale tickets

So with all that being said, how do I go about fixing the yield maps so they actually mean something? Do I have the tools I need in EASi Suite? Or are there other tools I need to help take the errors out of the data?

For example, we have an irrigated field that averaged about 230 bpa. The yield map says it made 200. It also says the highest yield was 380. I'm pretty sure the high yields are from where the combine slowed down while there was still a lot of grain running up the clean grain elevator. I would be shocked if there is any area in the field that yielded close to that.

So how do I:

1. Get rid of the unrealistically high areas

2. Adjust all the areas to reflect the 230 actual average yield

3. Make the combines that were in that field (probably 4 or 5 but how do I tell?) fairly close with respect to one another

4. Fix all the spots that show poor yield because a combine had the seperator running in an area that had already been harvested?

Thanks.
