| The people I see shaving pigs have spent so much time with them that they are pets. They can and do just get in the pen and start the process and the pig usually doesn't mind. Our hog on the other hand have been handled but still think they are pigs and want nothing to do with that kind of close attention. So for the safty of the pigs and those around them we don't shave. A good judge will find the best pig and shaving will only help in that flip a quarter decision at least thats my thought on pig shaving. | |
