NCMO | I know CRP may look dumb today, but it wasn't all that many years ago that its what made the farm payments and kept the farm going. We are taking the best ground out and farming it but here in North Missouri there is ground that could be farmed but really shouldn't! Crop insurance and higher commodity prices change a lot of thinks. Maybe the tax payers shouldn't pay for this, maybe they shouldn't help pay for crop ins. but at least we as farmers are giving something back unlike a lot of recepients of taxpayer $. | |
