That's the craziest thing I've ever heard. Birds need cover to survive. Your fence rows are not enough. The number 1 reason for the decline in pheasants is lack of habitat. CRP is great for wildlife and soil restoration and preservation. Take a 10 year CRP field out and farm it you will have the best yield you have ever seen on that farm.
