Southeast Colorado | Nobody ever really cares how much grain my area of the country grows but just so you all really know what a drought is...... from Aug.99 to Aug.00 we went 360 days with no moisture. I was kind of disappointed when we got that inch of rain in August because by that time I was hoping we could make it an entire year! One benefit I remember that year was that some of the wheat fields that were seeded in 99 were ready to go the next year. All of the work was done! | |
