Eastern VA. No such thing as too many Magnums. | I think CRP may take the cake. If you wanna farm the land, do it, if not, then don't farm it. I don't see why taxpayers should pay for landowners to do nothing. Most of the cost share programs are a waste too. They pay people to do stuff that they ought to do, and most likely would do anyway. I participate in CSP. it is a generous program, but it's a giveaway. I guess we'll all participate, since NOT participating puts us at a disadvantage. But truthfully I wish they'd shut down social services, legal aide, planned parenthood, CRP, CSP, DCP, cost share, and most of this other useless crap. We really can't afford it. While we're at it we could trim down EPA, get rid of affirmative action, nafta, and set up a meaningful guest worker program since about 90% of Americans never learned how to work.
