The thought of seeing roaming bands of gaunt, shabby looking consumers roaming the countryside in SUV's (in disrepair) & soccer mom's in ragged outfits, all searching for revenge and food is an ugly scenario. A few cans of aluminum paint for the windows & a safe room would appear to me to be a sound possible strategy.
