south east SD | I have the one out of Wisconsin, Hi-Fold Door Corp. 20 x 40 bi-fold. Will say it is a cable system, and there is moving parts! Cold storage so I don't need to open it every day. Builder was the dealer and he says he has put in a bunch at airports with no trouble. I asked about service after the sale and he said he a few little things on a new door and the company was very good to work with. Mine's only 90 days old so not much to report. The door is facing west and with a south wind it can hold it from latching in the middle. Not a big thing, I just don't open on a windy day or pull it in the middle just as it is closing. Mine has 2 remote's and a wall button. Never have to hold them to open or close. Open or close, stop anywhere you want. The price was WAY cheaper than any other door I looked at so that is why I bought it. When they say a 20 foot door, it is 20 foot opening! Hope it is working like it is now, 20 years from now! Wanted a big door to drive combine in with head, and anything else I want to park. Roll up door that size I don't think they make and sliders are not the answer. Didn't want a one piece door because I drive up hill to get out and might hit the door with something tall I might buy some day? Water runs away to the south so that is not a problem. Built the shed east to west south being down hill with a driveway being on both ends of the shed, 176 feet long. 72 foot was just added. Asked about door speed and he said they now use 220 power on electric over hydraulic. Mine opens and closes pretty fast. I know I can push the door opener and walk to a tractor, start it and drive out with no trouble.
