Our neighbor had two buildings, both from the 80s.
Strong wind, blew the one down, the Morton stood. He said the posts were only in 3 ft, and at the time he paid for 5ft.
On Dad's Morton building, the Morton crew looked at the site, said he needed taller posts on the north side. Cost more, but it lasted through the storm also.
