| Russ, thanks for the good word you said about some Mennonites you have hired. In 2004 I had a Mormon young man work for me on the harvest. He was one of the hardest working guys I had ever hired and such a nice kid to have around. When I hired him, I'll admit I was a little concerned if he would try to push his faith off on the rest of the crew. That never happened. If we talked about religion I was always the one that started it because I wanted to learn more about the Mormons. When we were harvesting here in my home community one Sunday he took us to the Mormon Church in Hutchinson, Ks. I found it quite interesting and not all that different from a Mennonite Church service. | |
