LCMS here and I would agree with the "Catholic Lite" comment.  I went to a Catholic funeral a while back and let's just say I didn't have any trouble keeping up with the liturgy.......


I will admit that sometimes it seems as though some in the Luthern church get of the opinion that only Lutherans are going to heaven.  LCMS congregation in our small town (not the congregation I attend) is all up in arms because their new preacher filled in and preached at the Methodist Chruch.  Seems like maybe they're missing the point.
