It is a bug that all calves have in the digrestive tract, something changes and causes it to grow out of control. Small intestine will bloat and then die off. Our vet told us to hit them with the large amount of penicillian to kill the bacteria. We give our calves a shot of bar-vac 7, it is a vaccine for this. We will still have one or two with flare ups but not too bad.
What is going on with this calf?
