I am of the same opinion as JamesOK and 0till. If all I ever did was worry about what the nieghbor's crops looked like, I'd never accomplish anything. Sure, there are slob farmers all over the place, but if they don't owe ME money, I don't give a rat's ass in a rolling doughnut what their crops look like. That is unless they are letting shatercane or sunflowers explode right across the fence, becuase then it DOES concern me. I'm not above climbing a fence with a corn knife to stop an explosion of weeds.... As far as your "BTO", why don't you just go rent all his ground out from under him. If he's paying, for example, $120/acre rent and doing a slobby job of it, surely you could afford $150/acre with your absolute perfection.
