Subject: RE: 9682 NH tractor questions

Hazelton, Kansas
Fla,

Has your friend exhausted all possibilities regarding tires and inflation?

I have only experienced side-to-side power hop once. It was on the back axle of a V-835, under a very heavy pull on firm soil at about 4 mph. You're right...it's a major problem when it occurs.

Are the tires radials? Bias plys have more carcass stiffness and damping.

What pressures? That would be the simplest thing to change, so I assume he has done that.

Not trying to insult anyone, but sometimes these things are easily cured...sometimes not.

FWIW.
