I had breakfast with a friend this morning who had just driven from the Danville, Il are (ec-il) to Varna, Il (northern part of IL), on backroads pulling a combine platform about 175 miles. He said up & back he only saw one poor field of corn. This guy is in his early '70s & is a top notch farmer so should know what he's looking at though outside borders of fields can be deceptive.
