I got my start hauling silage with an M in front of 7x14 wagons in the hills of western Iowa. You learned how to pick your routes up and down the hills and the M only got used for haylage which we chopped kind of dry so it wasn't too heavy. For oat silage or corn silage we borrowed a neighbor's tractor or worked together.
