Subject: That's a completely different story!

3010, basically a 4 cylinder 4010.  The 400 series 4 cyl engine is basically obsolete but there is enough aftermarked support to keep them running forever, expecially considering it is a diesel design and lasts forever on gasoline anyway.  The 6 cyl is, in my opinion, a better engine as is the diesel but that doesn't imply this one is bad.  Hydraulics were better then anything built at the time, or for quite a while after.  Transmission is a decade ahead of anything on the market at the time except maybe for the selectospeed, depending on how you look at it.  I'm thinking 50 hp but Gerald is probably right as I haven't looked it up.  PTO is the week point, as he stated, but as long as it hasn't already been run loose it can be run successfully.  The key is to have a good true surface on both the shaft and the mounting hub, choose a speed to commit to, then freshen the bolt holes, bolts, and dowels, coat everything with epoxy, and install it PERMANENTLY.
