Subject: Lightening strikes?

West Union, IOWA FLOLO Farm 52175
Anybody ever have equipment struck by lightening?

Deere has been working on my combine the last 3 days(on/off) Replacing every computer on the machine and the only conclusion so far is a may storm that burned my pump house due to possible lightening. The combine was in the shed 50 feet away with the doors closed even, but Deere is still convinced it possibaly related. Guess we'll find out next week when we do oats if all systems are go. Anybody heard of such a thing? neighbor had a 7920 with $12000 wiring damage but tractor was under a tree.--loran
