I was lucky enough to attend the 50th annual FFA convention in 1977 in Kansas City. Being a local kid it wasn't a big deal since it was only 50 minutes from our local chapter.
I still have my jacket (although it's too small now) and the 50th anniversary commemorative medallion I received at the door of the convention.
