| It has puzzled my mind for years, why the hell, given toe cost of farm equipment, and the propensity of machines like combines to self transform into barBQues, why owners of the machines, or manufacturers don't equip them with fire supression?
Currently, you can buy 75# dry powder canisters for next to nothing, since insurers and government agents have forced every resturant to go to wet powder, so why not put them on combines? A simple 12 volt sprayer like the ones people put on Quads for their garden spraying would go a long way toward saving a machine that costs what a tractor or combine does.
Fire supression has been on construction equipment since the 70s, why not on farm equipment? | |
