Dalton, OH | This was our 1st year running a Drago head, 8-row. Have demoed many 600c heads, but moved from a 693 head with Calmer's setup to the Drago. If it wasn't for the infield performance of the Drago this year in our extremely variable corn, I would be running another head for next season. When we got the head last summer, we were extremely unimpressed with the design of it as we were prepping it for our machine. So many little things that they were 10 years behind on compared to the Deere. But I kept reminding myself we bought this head for the performance in the field and I was very impressed there and only there, but that is what pays the bills. We will give it one more season and then see where we are then. | |
