Put out calf gain free choice at the 10-14 days And water about the same time. They figure out drinking water from the Pail on their own. I wean off of milk at the 4-5 week mark. Can feed 5lbs of grain for what 1 days milk replacer cost. Since I have been doing this I have been weaning sooner and calves grow better and are healther. Most importain there is less stress on me and the calves. | |
