some folks take to good of care of em and they'll get fat deposits in their bags when young ( weaning thru development ussually )

don't Love em so much. kick em out make em rough it and work for it while growing up.

also plenty of folks breed em weighing 900 to 1000 lbs ( 15 months old ).

that's to big, mo.
your just feeding to much maintenence weight ( cows develop into to big a cow etc ).

breed em weighing 650 and they grow into the afore kinda weights before calfing anyway.

granted the afore can be tough to do because it takes fall borns that go to breedup the next year for spring calfing the year after that.
