i'm trying to start farming myself on my dads land(220 acres). unless i borrow some money i'm going to take another 2 years before i can even get a crop in the ground, only thing i can say is on that small of acres you should be able to find a cheap decent combine and do it yourself, for me the best part of farming is harvest time and if somebody else is doing it takes the "fun" out of it.....
