Oklahoma | See if you have a neighbor that would like to custom harvest until you can work into a combine. The planter and sprayer will be the things that timeliness will be in your favor and the upfront cost will be less. If you want to do anything with a drill, check your local soil and water conservation office to see what they have to rent. FIL is doing very similar to you in the same area and last fall he rented a nice No-till drill for cover crops for pretty cheap.
Edit - reread your post and I wouldn't do tillage, just focus on a good planter and sprayer.
