High input costs this year, has shed a whole different light on the acreage battle. Even with the fringe areas backing off on corn acres, Imo planted corn acres this year will be more than what most are figuring at this point in time. I look for corn acres to be up in the major corn growing areas.
Even with more planted acres of beans this year the bulk of the increase will be after wheat and on less productive ground. The bean market has still not done what it needs to do, to correct the problem Imo.
