That is a mess. Sorry to hear about it. Similar deal here awhile back. 55 unit building. 120 people with nothing. College students, young couples, older people. Built before code had a fire stop all the way to the roof. Grandfathered in. When guys start bitching about codes and regulations, someone should stick a screwdriver in their eye.
