It does depend on where you are. Here in Tennessee it is more common for me to make 50 bu beans than to make 180 bu corn. In 2006 I had a whole farm average of 59 bu per acre on beans so beans look better "down here." Also reading the posts on Ag Talk I am sure it takes more fertilizer per bushel of corn yield on our soils than up north. I am still growing some corn though just not as much as in 07. I just hope and pray it actually rains here this year! Rick
