Thanks for the drawing Poverty, its more clear now.
Heres a drawing of what we have in mind so far:
Green lines are gates and some of them will latch in 2 places. Seems like alot of gates but some of them wouldnt get used more than once or twice but its nice to have them and not need them than need them and not have them
