We have a New Idea and it has been a great spreader. Just wish the beater spun faster and had more paddles as it will clump sometimes. Also use an H&S 310, its is a good spreader too, just a little lighter in some spots, but has a better spread pattern. Neither one has the upper beater, next spreader will have that.
