Lister bedding was common here for moonshiners in the days of prohibition. Other than the aggrivation of driving over lister beds in a pasture, benefits remain to the soil and forage growth from the old beds. Not true ridge-till but lister bedding is pretty darn close and has 'quite the history' in this area.
