Southwest OK | I like them a lot. A split calving season isn't a bad thing at all. Allows you to own half the bulls, and they earn their keep twice a year instead of once. Half as many heavy's to check on at a time. It is much easier to keep a close calving time frame. If a cow is a late, simply move her to the next herd and she will be early. Best of all, two sale days a year! So you have a better chance of hitting a good market. | |
