Subject: RE: Case IH Farmall 125A

East Central, Nebraska
i told the dealer i was sold til i went and looked at it. i wanted a new tractor on a tight budget and that is what it is. it was everything i needed until i saw where the hydraulic levers were. if you ever ran a tractor with a hand brake just imagine operating that on the the other side of the seat. i could not imagine bending over, reaching down under the seat a couple hundred times a day. if you are looking for a super simple (cheap) tractor that is one for you. i belive i could hook you up with one for $65000 brand new (only got one price and didn't argue because i became uninterested), but if you look at it the other way, i was told a decked out 140 is 102,000 so how important is all the other bs. if i could find a good economical way to move the hydraulic levers i might own one myself. if your only using it for a loader, put a joystick on it and don't worry about it.

also i don't think the transmission goes over 18 down the road.
