SCMN | I have a friend looking at building his first barn and contract finishing for a large operation in our area. He says they will give you like a 10 year contract per pig space whetrher they fill it or not. A barn probably takes 12 or more years to pay for itself now. With corn as high as it is I wonder if there are guys who didn't get another contract or renewal to pay the last 2 years on their barn. Are they going to sit empty? Probably not but I'm not a pig guy, don't know. | |
