Yes I was sure it was working ok because it had been used the way it is. What you will gain with it hooked the other way is that the additional oil being returned in the low pressure circuit will be flowing through the cooler and then to transmisson lube and then splashing into the sump. I am well aware of vac fan surging on 6,7 AND 8000 series because those tractors with load sensing hydraulics are much more sensitive. The "jumper loop" tube kit that attached to the fan motor was the fix finally for them. Any way glad to help and see how you get along.
