The 366 is almost the same as the big block chevy engines, ALMOST!!! The difference is the deck height. I think a standard passenger car big block has a 9.5 inch height and the Tall deck big blocks (truck blocks ) have a 10.2 inch height. What this means is everything will interchange between a standard deck and a tall deck except pistons and intake manifolds. I would love to get a 427 tall deck block because it can be bored and stroked out to a 572 relatively easy and aftermarket pistons and intakes are available to make a killer street engine for my Camaro.
