Subject: OK, the pig is a great filter....

hyseed - 1/11/2013 13:02 "It may filter out some of it, but not nearly all of it." it gets it all u under estimate the power of a hogs digest system.

A pig is very similar on the insides as a human, correct  ?

Why then do we use urine samples to test humans for substance abuse?

Why is the main concern with spreading sludge from sewage treatment plants a build up of heavy metals?

There are withdrawal periods for antibiotics used for hogs for a reason.     It is a safe amount of time to allow for the residues to leave the pig.

Where do you think those residues go when they leave the pig?

I agree that the pigs digestive tract is a good filter, it just doesn't put the bad stuff into storage inside the animal near as much as you believe it does.

It filters it out and removes it from the pig.
