You are right about "politics". We own some "natural" hogs, and some of the criteria for their housing, is just plain nuts. So many square feet of sunlight available, bedding, solid flooring, etc.

I like the story about seafood. Once, was in the grocery store, and noticed a bottle of "Organic Sea Salt". Now,,,,, how in the world does one raise..... Organic Sea Salt??????? and how is it possibly different than regular sea salt?

There is a niche for organic production since some consumers are willing to pay for it.
