| Well I hoped to trick you with the graph, the devil is in "3 play both string and brass".
Since it does not say "3 play 'only' both string and brass", it could be interpreted as these 3 being part of the 5 who play all 3 types of instruments. In that case, the answer would be 22, 23, 24 or 25, because "3 play both string and brass" does not exclude 0, 1 or 2 "play only both string and brass", although some would call it lying by omission...
I always fail at these logic/intelligence tests, I always ask myself too many questions that the persons preparing the test did not even consider, considering more variables and making the test more complex than it was supposed to be.
