2,4-D was one of the components of Agent Orange. It was NOT the component that caused the problems.
The component that caused the problems was 2,4,5-T.
Just one of the lies that the "organic" crowd continues to advance the cause.
Err, I never said it did or lied. I know perfectly well what Agent Orange is, thanks. I only said it's the same family of products, not that it has the same toxicity. And for your information, 2,4,5-T is also not toxic by itself. It's the low quality of its unrefined military-grade production that resulted in dioxin by-products, which were the highly lethal component in Agent Orange. 2,4-D current production does not let these dioxins into the pesticide product, thankfully. | |
