Sourthern WI | Agree 100% that it's going to be very location dependent. And that is what makes it hard to put a price on. For the right guy, it's going to be great like it was for us. For our ground, the 6 row is going to be getting pretty big and dad and I are talking about putting row shut offs on it. It will work well and will be a nice upgrade, but it will be the limit of what we can run. We have one square piece of ground and everything else is points, banana's, and curves.
I kinda hate to sell the thing because I know it's going to be almost impossible to find one this good ever again.
The row setbacks are used with the coulter trash wiper combos. Because they stick so far out in front of the row unit, when it's in the ground and you hit a bump, the row cleaner will come up and hit the drive shaft. We found the wipers didn't work all that great on 15" rows as in high trash condtions, the rear units would throw a little trash back on the rows planted by the front units. Just had to slow down a bit.
