S.E. Iowa
Can you sit by and watch it rain for a month {2010 and 2011} and know one trip with a sprayer will fix what is wrong? If you can hit it right conventional will pale in comparison. If you hit it wrong have your crop insurance paid up. If you hit it mediocre it is equal to conventional. This year my best organic corn made 81 or 82 bu/a. The landlord had to go thru the door sideways grinning so much. The worst made 40 bu. My conventional went from 105-120 bu/a.
