| To go along with your post about drinking or not, we opened the winery on New Years eve weekend. We offer wine tasting like pretty much all wineries do.
i have had a couple of instances where a couple comes in and only one wants to taste. That is fine by me as some don't like wine or don't drink.
Both times they felt they had to explain, one had diabetes which wasn't hard to figure out as he was pretty much blind.
The other said he quit thirty years ago, meaning he was a recovering alcoholic. There is no way I am going to give someone a hard time if they can't handle drinking. He said I wish I could have just one glass, but know I can't.
I guess what I am trying to say is there are all kind of reasons not to drink. I don't think I would worry what others say.
