I've heard of some of the very best land in Iowa and Illinois selling for over 8000 per acre. Very, very little of this at this time, I'm sure. In the future--who knows? I sincerely don't think the land buyer will be buying a top anytime soon. Still he's gotta be looking down the road quite a ways--even with excellent crop prices.
