went thru that with both my folks they had nursing home ins had to use all their assets as well- house is not fair game as long as it is lived in by one or the other . land -savings, annuitties and such are . most folks wati till too late to plan for these things don't try to hide anything that really can get you in trouble.
mom may have to get nursing home care...Asset Protection?
