I have'nt seen a 6 row planter in over 10 years, why would anyone consider running such a small thing?
If you have a spring turn cold and wet, and have to patch terrace pans, or other intermittent drown-outs, you'll be lookin for a 6 or 8 to beg or borrow in a hurry. When 6 or 8 rows is all that didn't come up, there's not that much sense running down another 6 or 8 rows beside it, or how much extra you have to run down to drive to that part of the field. |
