I pulled a JD 7000 6 row 30" with an Allis 180 diesel (65 hp) and an AC 7000 (90 hp) in plowed and chiseled ground. Now pull a 7000 with no till equipment with an AC 7060 (160 hp) which is way overkill butI don't think I'll wear it out, either. I only need one tractor and have to have enough power to pull wagons in the fall.
What size of tractor is everyone using on there 6 row planters?
