Planted many acres with a John Deere 50 and a six row IH 56 planter. When we rebuilt the 50 with a set of M&W hi dome pistons it would pull it in fourth on flat ground. Had some hills that we had to drop to second on though. Once planted 138 acres of beans in one day with that rig. (very long day)
What size of tractor is everyone using on there 6 row planters?
