Might try using "smoked" paprika on top (if looking for some mild spiciness) instead of Old Bay, as a little of it goes a long way, especially when used as a topping (don't want to over power the crab taste). If you want some mild heat just add a couple dabs of Tabasco or a shake of Old Bay to the filling mixture.
