From this old post some wanted to see what it does in winter. Today its well below freezing outside and windy, little sun lately, but sunny today, early morning temperature today was at 42 degrees inside, with some sun its now 62, some days its 75 inside if sunny all day yet below freezing outside. From pictures I have boxed in lower inlet hole and have a double furnace fan in bottom duct thats controlled by a thermostat switch located at top to "power vent" heated air more quickly into building. Air temp at top of solar wall entering building is between 120 and 140 degrees in full sun . Costs about of 15 cents/hr or less to run fan when sun heat turns trips the thermostat. In no sun or at night a 6 mil curtain closes off the top hole by gravity so it does not run backward and loose heat. Shed is 3072 sq feet. To see up to a 30 degree rise in a day of sun is a lot of energy. Should easily coast through cold snaps and not freeze inside. Shell is heavily insulated, but didn't insulate floor.
